What does a fractional PM actually do?

I bring senior product expertise to the team without the cost and commitment of a full-time hire. I start from the problem space and business outcomes, turn evidence into roadmap decisions and help the team become more autonomous. The principle remains the same: less output, more outcome.

How is this different from a full-time hire or an agency?

A fractional engagement gives you immediate access to senior expertise for the time you actually need, without making a full-time hire. Unlike an agency, I work directly with the team and handle the work myself, without delegating the relationship or delivery to third parties. The goal is to transfer method and autonomy, not create dependency.

As an AI Product Builder, do you build or only advise?

Both. I work on product strategy and decisions and, when needed, build the solution directly: digital products, n8n automations and RAG or CAG systems. AI-assisted development reduces the distance between decision and release while I retain control over architecture, validation and quality. If the project requires a dedicated development team, I make that clear before we start.

How do we start? What does the first call cover?

We start with a free 60-minute call and use your situation to frame the problem, goals, constraints and what is blocking the product or team. By the end, we will have a clearer view of the situation and can decide whether it makes sense to work together.

How does pricing work?

There are three ways to work together: a Spot day at €600, an ongoing fractional engagement from €500 per day and €2,000 per month, or a defined-scope project. Starting rates are public; the first call helps us understand which format best fits the problem and the level of involvement required.

Can I hire you for a one-off project?

Yes. I can take on a product, an automation or a defined intervention with a clear objective. The initial call frames the problem; if structured scoping is needed, I handle it as a Spot day and deduct the cost from the project if we continue.

Notes on VAT & invoicing

All prices shown exclude VAT. Italian clients are charged 22% VAT. For businesses established in another EU country with a VAT number valid in VIES, the invoice is normally issued without Italian VAT and the customer accounts for the tax under the reverse-charge mechanism. For non-EU businesses, the invoice is generally issued without Italian VAT. Exceptions may apply depending on the customer and the type of service; the final tax treatment is verified by my accountant at the invoicing stage.
